The Primary Education stage covers the ages between 6 and 11 years. It will allow, on the one hand, the continuity, consolidation and development of cognitive, psychomotor and socio-affective areas; deepening the formation of the personality, strengthening and increasing their psycho-social experiences for the effective development of their lives and the development of the various intellectual competencies so that they can continue their studies creatively.

The curriculum for General Basic Education, starting in the first grade, is organised into three areas: Humanistic, Scientific and Technological.
